The cozy 3rd bedroom is located off the living room on the main floor and is directly across from a full bathroom with heated floors and awesome overhead rain can shower head.
A cleverly designed front entry with convection heater doubles as a drying room with customizable hooks & baskets to hang and air dry your outerwear (jackets, pants & gloves). The front entry accommodates skis and boards in winter and includes 2 vertical bike mounts to safely store two bikes in summer.
Kitchen Amenities incl.: Convection Range, Microwave, Fridge w/ freezer, Dishwasher, Drip coffee machine with a thermal carafe, French Press Coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender. A 50" fireplace with marble surround adds another level of cosiness and ambience to warm things up.

We take pride in our home and enjoy sharing our local knowledge & experience with guests, whether it be a tour of the village, a mountain adventure, or just some friendly advice about where to eat.
Everything in the village is accessible by foot from CityWood in The Gables but if you want to take a bus the public transit routes run along Blackcomb Way which is directly out front of our parking lot. You can literally hop on a bus 50 meters from your door. Taxis are plentiful and a ride to anywhere in Whistler village is less than $10.
Self Check-In home is equipped with a Keypad Access Control system so keys are not required to gain access to our home. Each Booking Guest is electronically sent a unique Door Code that will work for the exact duration of their stay. Additional notes
Free parking is provided for two vehicles.
One designated parking stall in the secure underground parkade + one common area parking space in the exterior parking lot is included for the duration of each booking.
(1) "Medeco" key to access the secure underground parkade + (1) parking pass for the exterior parking lot can be found in the front entry of our unit. Replacement cost is CAD$150/each so please remember to return these essential items prior to departure.
There is a 20-minute loading zone directly in front of our unit, so upon arrival, you can unload the car, go inside, get the parking pass and/or garage key then park.
* Parking pass must be clearly displayed from vehicle parked in outside parking lot. Tow trucks aggressively patrol this area and will remove any vehicles not displaying a parking pass.

We would like to bring to your attention the new BC Health order requiring short term rental owners to collect guest information for Contact Tracing purposes. We have a short Guest Contact Tracing Form that needs to be completed prior to check-in. All information collected is kept strictly confidential and WILL NOT be sold or released for any kind of sales, marketing or subscription services.
Self Check-In via a Kaba Keypad Door Lock system means no keys are required for access. A unique door code is created for every booking. Door codes automatically activate at the scheduled check-in time and expire at the scheduled check-out time. We email this unique code to you prior to check-in.
We need you to confirm we have a current email address to send your unique Door Code, Passwords, Property Instructions and Strata Rules. This information will be emailed to the address you provide, prior to your arrival. *We DO NOT share or use your email for marketing purposes.
Ski & Bike lessons for all age groups as well as childcare services are located right across the street for the ultimate convenience.
We interact with our guests as much or as little as our guests prefer. We live full time in Whistler and are active in and around the community. We are always happy to offer helpful tips and guidance especially with respect to local activities such as hiking, biking and skiing as well as dining and shopping. We often accompany guests on hiking, biking and ski tours to show them some of our favourite spots and can help out with the odd piece of equipment if they forget something. Neighborhood overview
To make the guest experience as autonomous as possible we have equipped our property with a keypad access control system and each guest is emailed property information that includes a unique access code for their stay; The unique access code provides guests with keyless access to the property and eliminates the stress and challenge of trying to schedule a specific arrival time to exchange keys etc...
We do however try to make ourselves as accessible as possible throughout our guests stay in order to provide assistance if and when required.
Why is this the Best Whistler Rental Location? Citwood's proximity to the heart of Whistler village and the Upper village offers the best of both worlds. First off it is a home that is completely surrounded by nature, including a secluded wooded park area, the spectacular glacial-fed Fitzsimmons Creek, and a pedestrian-only walkway, complete with a covered bridge to and from the upper and main village areas. Chair lifts, restaurants, shops, lessons, guides, child care, ski & bike rental, etc are all within 100 meters of our front door.
Getting around Whistler is simple. The Whistler transit system provides year-round public bus service throughout Whistler and between Whistler Village and Pemberton.
For walking and cycling, Whistler's commuter backbone is the Valley Trail which runs past the perimeter of our property. Valley Trail is a 35-km/22-mi multi-use trail that begins at Spring Creek, in the south, extends through the Village itself and ends at Emerald Estates in the north.
Whistler Public Transit
Buses service most areas in Whistler. In spring and summer the buses are equipped with bike racks. There are free shuttle buses that operate between Whistler Village hotels and the ski lifts; in the summer there is free service between the Village and Lost Lake. Bus route run along Blackcomb Way with a bus stop on the street directly in front of our property.
Taxis are abundant throughout the village as well.
